Wasn’t Susan off singing in nightclubs and lounges around then? I think something was amiss between both of them. But, how would I or anyone else know. Perhaps one of the children will write about it one day.

Warren also told Alice to get a divorce if she wasn’t happy. She took his advice.

However, Warren didn’t attend Susan’s funeral because as Schroeder wrote he was too grief stricken. And it was Susan who introduced Warren to Astrid.

What a soap opera.

Just yesterday I read a CNBC article from 2008 (just before Alice's biography of Buffett came out), which talks about the Buffett & Kay relationship, and I was surprised by what I discovered:

"One of the reasons Susie began a romance with her tennis coach and then left her “iceberg” husband: Katherine Graham's public flirtation with Buffett when the Washington Post publisher was a 59-year-old widow and he was 46.

Schroeder’s book talks about how Graham and Buffett would travel around the country “on business” or spend time at his mansion on Martha’s Vineyard. It describes how Graham made no effort to hide her flirtation, tossing her house key to Buffett at parties. "

Now I understand everything!
